Enabling busy health professionals to grow

A charity organisation set out to explore a mobile app that could help health professionals deliver higher‑quality care.
As the UI Designer and Webflow Developer, I crafted the app concept to uncover user needs and created a website to measure early engagement.

An early app concept was designed to support busy hospital teams with fast, accessible training and streamlined staff management.

The concept directly targeted the challenges hospital teams raised:

  1. Streamlining access to training
  2. Simplifying staff follow‑up
  3. Enabling learning in short moments
  4. Strengthening shared knowledge
Challenge #1

Streamlining access to training

Nurses told us they often spent too much time searching for the right training materials. The concept introduced guided learning programs to make training easier to find and access.

  • Training packages accredited by the health foundation
  • Recommended learning paths that can be assigned to staff with ease
Challenge #2

Simlifying Staff Follow‑Up

Following up on training progress was a recurring frustration. The concept addressed this by enabling teams to track learning activity without manual effort.

  • Clear visibility of staff progress
  • Automatic reminders sent directly to staff
Challenge #3

Enabling Learning in Short Moments

Given how time‑poor nurses are, training needed to fit into short, flexible moments. The concept focused on mobile‑friendly, bite‑sized modules that could be completed in short timeframes.

  • Short learning videos designed for busy schedules
  • Mobile and on-the-go friendly
Challenge #4

Strengthening Shared Knowledge

Health-care teams often rely on shared experience to navigate complex cases. The concept included a community knowledge base to help teams learn collectively.

  • Ability to share complex cases with peers
  • Insights drawn from the experiences of other clinicians

A dedicated website was created to showcase the proposed features and invite health professionals to register their interest — helping validate needs before moving into full product design.
